Technologies grow outdated pretty quickly...and my thoughts on it
Today i realized that learning Microsoft Office commands, templates, formulas(both word and excel) is not really a skill that needs much attention from my side! Simply because these things can be NOWADAYS quickly found on google.
These are still just technologies! And it does not give you edge over other developers....
Android, all languages - they are just tools and should be treated as tools only - no worshipping etc.
What matters more is what I create with these tools.
After all, do you pay too much attention to hammer/nails or to the end result - a table you can make with these tools? You certainly should keep them sharp/durable, but think about what you can do with them.
So, from now on, I change my attitude to all languages/compilers/frameworks etc - I don't crave to master all of them completely - just enough so that i can get my projects done
